About China

China has a long deep history for more than 5,000 years. Chinese philosophy is broad and profound, Confucius (Confucianism) and Laotzu (Taoism) as the representative.

Shandong is the birth place of martial arts and also the place where Confucianism was originated and developed and the city of Jining (a city in the southwest of Shandong Province) is known as the “the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, formal state” in the world. In China, the martial art is advancing with philosophy side by side.

Chinese people have always been hospitable and helpful. When we see foreign friends in trouble, or in need of help, we will not hesitate to lend a helping hand. In addition, our school has interpreters to help students to overcome the difficulties and problems encountered in their daily life. We will jointly organize and participate in various recreational activities to celebrate the traditional festival in East and West, to enhance mutual exchanges and experience different culture charms.

With a long history, unique features, numerous styles, and exquisite cooking, Chinese cuisine is one of the essential constituent parts of Chinese culture. Chinese traditional dishes are famous for their colour, aroma, taste, meanings, and appearance.

As China is a vast country, there are many regional differences in cuisine due to differing climates, history, local ingredients, dining customs, etc.

According to the cooking styles and regional flavours, Chinese cuisines can be divided into eight Chinese cuisines: Sichuan Cuisine, Hunan Cuisine. Shandong Cuisine, Zhejiang Cuisine, Fujian Cuisine, Anhui Cuisine, Cantonese Cuisine, Jiangsu Cuisine. Each cuisine has its popular dishes.

For students who love to travel, we recommend a two-day tour in the province—– Mount Tai (250, 00 kms away from our school) is one of the key scenic spots in China, whom enjoys the reputation of “the holiest mountain in China”. Every day, there are thousands of tourists come here especially to see the grand and magnificent mountain top sunrise. Qingdao (130 kms away from our school) Beer and wine Festival is one of the largest wine activities at home and abroad.
