MEIHUA QUAN SEMINAR FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE

Meihua Quan, also known as Mui Fa Kuen, Plum Flower Boxing and Plum Blossom Fist, is one of the oldest styles of Gong Fu. It is considered to be the mother of Chinese Martial Arts incorporating cultural elements such as Qigong, Chinese Traditional Medicine, Calligraphy and Feng shui.

THE INTERNATIONAL MEIHUA QUAN FEDERATION HAS THE MISSION OF PRESERVATION AND CULTIVATION OF TRADITIONAL MEIHUA QUAN KUNG FU AND CULTURE.

Shifu Shi Yanjun is the 17th Generation Disciple of Meihua Quan of the Grandmaster Han Baiguang, 16th Generation Successor of Lineage and representative of the Ancestors of Meihua Quan. He will be teaching the five postures, organs, elements and meridians associated with each stance. This is the secret to Meihua Qigong for longevity and health. In addition, participants will learn the first form and technical applications of the movements. He will also host a class on Qin Na grappling and locking applications, as this style is also descendant of Meihua Quan.

THE EVENT WILL ALSO FEATURE A KUNG FU TOURNAMENT WITH DIVISIONS FOR KIDS AND ADULTS IN TRADITIONAL CHINESE FORMS WITH AND WITHOUT WEAPONS AND SANDA KICKBOXING.

Well known masters and special guests will be presented awards for their service teaching traditional Chinese Arts to the community.

A component of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the event will be presented by Songshan Shaolin Traditional Wushu Academy coach, Jonathan M. Fields of Integrative Medicine US. There will be tongue and pulse diagnosis and options for people to try Acupuncture, Tuina Massage and Cupping.

After the weekend, there will also be a separate Spiritual Retreat event focused on Wellness and Longevity. The retreat will be in a more intimate setting and include one-on-one time with instructors and incorporate Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Meditation and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments like: Acupuncture, Moxa, Cupping, Herbs, Food Therapy and Tuina Massage.
